Founded by Nico de Soto, along with restaurateurs Julien Ross and Alexandre Giesbert, the bar opens in conjunction with the launch of the restaurant, Daroco Soho. Located above the bar on the ground floor, Daroco will exude its distinctive Parisian chic charm, featuring a spacious dining area and an outdoor terrace. This venture marks Nico de Soto’s third international project as an owner, following Mace in NYC and Danico in Paris. It embraces the welcoming and subterranean vibe of Soho’s bar scene, while also incorporating elements of Parisian chic and elegance. Inside, you’ll find plush furnishings, wooden paneling, and softly lit ambiance that captures the essence of downtown New York.
The cocktail menu, expertly crafted by Nico de Soto and his team, with the talented Head Bartender Kevin Price Houghton at the helm, introduces guests to a taste of Australia through its initial selection of ingredients sourced directly from Down Under. As time goes on, the menu will evolve to celebrate the diverse array of cultures and regions that inspire de Soto’s creative cocktail stories.
