Daroco Soho

A London version
of the Bella Vita

Since 2016, the DAROCO group has been telling the dreamy encounter between Paris and Italy, sharing a love for beauty, a taste for the very best, and above all, a passion for turning every meal into a joyful moment of sharing. The two Parisian restaurants located in the 2nd and 16th arrondissements have become iconic places with unique and spectacular designs.

This seductive potential goes beyond borders, and Alexandre Giesbert, Julien Ross, and Nico de Soto are banking on it to establish themselves in London, in the Soho district.

Their architect, Olivier Delannoy, sets the stage by imagining a more than monumental identity, drawing inspiration from the historical Renaissance movement. The counter opens majestically into the 120-seat dining room and reveals an extraordinary pizza oven, where blue butterflies strike a pose.

The energy of the place, projected through exuberant colors and textures, disrupts even the most intimate corners where one would almost like to linger. The interior is strikingly refined and expresses its poetry and vibrancy with wild abandon. Every detail of the decor instantly captivates the eye, while the enveloping and intoxicating music adds an extra dimension to the visual feast. A magic that echoes from the mirrored floor to the ceiling, a central element of the establishment and all DAROCO Group restaurants.

Outside, the 60-seat terrace suspends time and allows for endless extensions of the meal.

On the table, it’s Executive Chef Daniele De Luca who infuses style into DAROCO Soho. It’s a great pleasure to rediscover the pizzas with baroque names and incredibly fresh, handmade pasta in all shapes, textures, and flavors that always play with bold flavors: pappardelle, conchiglie, mafaldine… to name just a few of these delights.

Finally, downstairs, you dive headfirst into the intimate cocktail bar (seating for 50), Wacky Wombat, which embodies the imagination of globe-trotting bartender Nico de Soto. Inside, the “Tropical Jungle” patterns from Lelièvre Paris, in green and gold, signed Lelièvre, flow over the banquettes, the plush curtains, and the dimmed lighting, enhancing an ambiance that is ready to be celebrated.
